Let you tell you! Portrait photography is about capturing the essence, personality, identity and attitude of a person utilizing backgrounds, lighting and posing.
This can be couples, maternity, family, professional headshots, candid, lifestyle, group, pet or senior photos. If you're looking for anything along those lines, congratulations! You came to the right spot.
The biggest thing about taking photos like this is when I get to capture the personality in a photo. Whether it's serious photos or while you're in the middle of laughing. When they say a photo says a thousand words, they mean it. Let me be the one to capture YOU.

Steps
Step 1
Reach Out & Book
After you reach out through my contact form, I will respond within 24-48 hours. You should have the date of your shoot in mind, a place as well and what session you're interested in included in your contact form. Once I figure out if your date is opened on my calendar I will respond letting you know. I require a down payment of 50% of the package you chose within 1 week of sending me your inquiry. If not fulfilled after 1 week, anyone can take your date. If you have any questions along with the package you chose or the downpayment, I would love to hop on a call to talk through anything!
STEP 2
Time to Shoot
If your shoot is booked within the first week of your inquiry, the downpayment can be paid (or pay full) at the shoot.
We have fun, laugh and take some great memories and portraits. If you haven't paid full yet, the other 50% of your payments needs to be paid before I delivery your gallery to you.
STEP 3
Delivery Time!
A fully edited gallery will be delivered to you within 1 month of your shoot.
I do ask for a testimony after the shoot as a little appreciation. Can't wait for the shoot!
FAQ
What Should We Wear for a Portrait Session?
For a portrait session, it is important to dress in a way that you think best represents you. Generally, avoid wearing anything too formal or distracting. Instead, choose clothing that is comfortable, classic and timeless. Layers are always a great option as they can be adjusted to suit the setting and the weather. Colors should be chosen carefully, as they can affect the overall look of the photograph, make sure that if you want to be photographed as a group your clothes compliment each other but don’t match too closely . Try to avoid busy patterns and opt for solid colors that flatter your skin tone.
Can I reschedule shoots?
I realize that kids, in particular, are likely to become ill at the last second. If your child or you isn’t feeling up to it, I am pleased to move the shoot. If the weather isn’t looking favorable – rain or strong winds – then I’m glad to postpone with no extra charge.
Do you charge for travel expenses?
Yes, travel fees will be added for loctions more than 35 miles from zip cokd 16034.
Do you use a studio?
I prefer to work outdoors, I have found that most people are happier in a natural environment or their own home and this produces the best results. I have a fully equipped portable studio with multiple lights and backdrops, so I can produce studio style shots at you own home if you’d like me to all I require is 10 foot square area to work in. If you want something different and new, I will 100% book a studio for what you are looking for.
Do you recommend locations for my portrait session?
I am happy to recommend suitable locations for your photoshoot. If you are looking to book in the summer bear in mind that many of the more popular places can get very busy, but there are lots of great places to look at if you don't already have a place in mind.
Do I have to order prints through you?
No! I hate to have to charge extra so when I send over the photos from your session I will also send over my print release. That can be used if you have any printing problems to show you have permission.
