WHY BOUDOIR PHOTOGRAPHY?
I get asked this often and it is challenging to put it into words all the reasons, but here is my best attempt.
Boudoir photography is more than just pretty pictures. It is about what is happening on the inside (before and after) and the woman’s motivation to do the session. It is about self-acceptance, going out of your comfort zone and that feeling of accomplishment from doing something that was a bit (or maybe a lot) scary.
Creating boudoir portraits is also about the art of the human form. We spend most of our days covered up and hiding our bodies, boudoir photos give us an opportunity to free ourselves and be vulnerable in a place that is safe. We get the chance to see our bodies in a way that we never have before, a chance to see how our partners, spouses and loved ones see our beauty.
I believed that I could show any woman who comes to me, their beauty. It is definitely a challenge, not because I don’t believe it but because so many of us have deep rooted beliefs in the things that we believe are “wrong” with our bodies. I believe that every woman deserves to be seen. We carry beliefs in our heads that we are too tall, too short, too skinny, too much weight, too many curves, not enough curves… we never seem to be satisfied with our bodies as they are today. That is why I do Boudoir Photography to make you love your body and to not be too hard of your beautiful self anymore.

Steps
Step 1
Reach Out & Book
After you reach out through my contact form, I will respond within 24-48 hours. You should have the date of your shoot in mind, a place as well and what session you're interested in included in your contact form. Once I figure out if your date is opened on my calendar I will respond letting you know. I require a down payment of 50% the package you chose within 1 week of sending me your inquiry. If not fulfilled after 1 week, anyone can take your date. If you have any questions along with the package you chose or the downpayment, I would love to hop on a call to talk through anything!
STEP 2
Time to Shoot
If your shoot is booked within the first week of your inquiry, the downpayment can be paid (or pay full) at the shoot.
We make you feel like the baddest girl there is and make you feel the best you ever have! If you haven't paid full yet, the other 50% of your payments needs to be paid before I delivery your gallery to you.
STEP 3
Delivery Time!
A fully edited gallery will be delivered to you within 1 month of your shoot.
I do ask for a testimony after the shoot as a little appreciation. Can't wait for the shoot!
FAQ
Do you share my images?
No. Not unless you have given permission with a model release. I understand the very personal and intimate nature of these portraits, so this decision is yours to make, not mine. Of course, I always want you to feel free to share them, and by sharing them you can inspire other women to do these kinds of transformational self-love and confidence-boosting sessions, but the decision to do this is all yours. I understand that even if you want to share them that you may be bound by morality clauses where you work, so I would never want to jeopardize your job.
Do I bring my own lingerie?
Yes, I do not provide lingerie at the moment. Things may change per this request.
Do you have payment plans?
Yes we do! I always want you to get what you want and to work within your budget.
Is hair and makeup included?
I do not offer this... YET. If you want the full beauty feel, we can definitely talk and book a makeup and hair stylist but that will be extra cost.
Do I have to wear lingerie?
Nope. If you prefer to go a more glamour route with a dress and a more Vanity Fair magazine style shoot, we can do that too. If you prefer to wear a man’s shirt, your partner’s favorite sport’s jersey, a big sweater, a ripped T-shirt and jeans, or nothing but a white sheet, we can do that too! The whole idea to help you look and feel beautiful, and whatever that is, that is what we will go with.
I don’t know how to pose, will you help?
Absolutely! I give super easy-to-follow instructions and coach you from your facial expression down to the placement of your fingers. I WILL NOT say “look sexy” or “work the camera” or any other vague directions like that. It’s my job to guide you through the process, and I will be there for you every step of the way, literally. I will mirror the pose for you , so I am right there with you posing. If I can do it, you can do it! However, many of these positions are not normal for most women, so prepare to be a little sore..lol!
